The new Allen-Bradley Guardmaster 440C-CR30 Safety Relay is a flexible, cost-effective and easy-to-use configurable safety relay ideal for applications requiring 2 to 10+ safety circuits and single or multiple zone control. The Guardmaster 440C-CR30 Safety Relay is configured through FREE Connected Components Workbench™ software or through Studio 5000 for Logix controllers. The distinct graphical user interface and drag- and-drop capabilities for programming help guide users through a simple process of selecting certified safety function blocks for up to Category 4/Performance Level E safety architecture. Use with all your safety devices such as door switches, light curtains, E-stops, safety mats, 2-hand control, etc. The list goes on and on…

Improved Machine Performance with Improved Diagnostics

Troubleshooting your machine or individual safety circuits just became much easier with the CR30’s onboard fault recognition and detailed error messaging. Plug in via USB to monitor your system during startup or receive messages directly to your HMI or PLC via Ethernet I/P for increased up-time and greater functionality than traditional relay-based systems. Five status and 16 user configurable LEDs on the Guardmaster 440C- CR30 relay’s faceplate provide local diagnostics to further aid in status reporting and troubleshooting.

Flexibility, Expandability, Usability

With 22 on-board safety I/O points, including 6 configurable I/O, the Guardmaster 440C-CR30 Safety Relay is a flexible solution for applications requiring multiple safety zones. Without increasing the footprint, the 440C-CR30 can also be expanded with two standard Micro800 plug-in modules to support 16 additional standard I/O points, saving valuable safety I/O points for your safety system. The CR30 also supports the sharing of standard Control signals between automation controller and 440C-CR30 safety relay (resets, feedback, etc.) further expanding its capabilities.

Panel Space an issue?

At just 110mm wide, the horizontal footprint of the CR30 takes up about the same DIN rail space as 2 timing safety relays, allowing you to decide what to do with all the extra panel space.

Are You Moving Towards Ethernet I/P Whenever Possible?

Ethernet I/P feedback gives your system the power and simplicity of a Logix based safety solution with greatly reduced cost. It also saves massive amounts of time on wiring and diagnostics.
