Kinetix 5300 Motion Control Solution for Smart Machines

The Kinetix 5300 is an entry level CIP motion, single axis motion solution. This servo drive utilizes add on profiles (AOP’s) with a motion ready automation controller to integrate into your Studio 5000 project.

One thing to note, the Kinetix 5300 serves as a replacement for the Ultra3000 sercos drives, the Kinetix 2000 and the Kinetix 350; allowing customers a simplified migration path. The new Kinetix 5300 product line, combined with the rest of the Kinetix family, provides a complete range of servo drive offerings from small, standalone machines to large, complex systems.

The Kinetix 5300 is available in 120V/230V single phase up to 2KW and 230V/480V three phase up to 7.5KW. The Kinetix 5300 supports the TLP as well as the MPL series of motors (depending on feedback type, resolver not directly supported). Paring the Kinetix 5300 with a TLP motor is a cost-effective way to add motion to any application. The Kinetix 5300 has dual ethernet ports (with DLR) and hardwired safe torque off (STO).

The Kinetix TLP motor offers a wide-range system power ratings solution for a variety of motion control applications. Combining the TLP, The Kinetix 5300 and matching 2090-CT servo cables creates a validated system. Also, the TLP and cable combination provides flexibility with many built-in options. TLP is the next generation of TL and TLY motor - with a similar flange size and wider power range. You could easily swap the existing TL and TLY without dramatically changing the machine construction.
