MSC-1. This commercial grade, multi-sensor snow melting control is capable of monitoring snow and ice accumulation in three separate zones and sending independent control signals to each zone-for example, one signal for the sidewalk, one for the driveway, and one for the gutters and downspouts. The MSC-1 controller is housed in an enclosure suitable for commercial and industrial indoor applications (NEMA 4, 4X). It features an LCD display for programming and indicator lights for operation of each zone. The control signal relays operate external contactors. The MSC-1 controller is UL listed to US and Canadian safety Standards. GC-1. The GC-1 controller is designed to energize the heating cable only when moisture conditions exist and there is a risk of freezing. If the temperature is below 33degC/38degF and the MSG-1 sensor detects moisture, the controller applies power to the heating cable. The cable remains energized for a three-hour hold time after the sensor is dry. The GC-1 controller is UL listed to US and Canadian safety Standards. Magnetic power Contactors. The PC series magnetic power contactors are resistance rated and can be used to switch or interrupt high voltage and/or high current loads with low voltage control devices. All units are CSA Certified and UL Recognized, and are supplied complete with a NEMA 1 enclosure.
